Approved Amendments to the Regulations concerning Electronic Gaming Devices

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Commission (KLC) wishes to advise the community that the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (KGC) has provided notification that amendments to the Regulations concerning Electronic Gaming Devices (the “Regulations”) were approved by the KGC.

The KGC notified the KLC on December 12, 2025, that sections 7, 8.1, 8.1.1, and 8.2 of the Regulations have been amended, and are regarding the introduction of an exception to the current bet limit on Electronic Gaming Device’s (EGD’s) and updating the definition of EGD’s to include Electronic Table Games. Feedback was received during the 30-day Feedback Period (September 4-October 2, 2025), and a Feedback Report with reply was compiled.
