Notification of Proposed Draft Amendments to the Regulations Regarding Electronic Gaming Devices

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Commission (KLC) wishes to advise the community that it has received a request from the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission to amend the Regulations Regarding Electronic Gaming Devices pursuant to the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Law.

The KGC notified the KLC on Friday, October 10, 2025, that there are numerous proposed amendments regarding:

• Reorganizing Provisions for clarity;
• Enhanced Provisions regarding Compliance Audits;
• Refining the Applications Process;
• Adjusting Fee Levels; and,
• Updating Forms & Schedules.

Due to the large number of proposed changes throughout the regulations, there will be a 45-day review period instead of 30 days. The proposed amendments appear in track changes.
