REMINDER – Kiosks for Draft Kahnawà:ke Animal Control Law

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Commission wishes to remind the community about upcoming Community Consultations on proposed amendments to the Kahnawà:ke Animal Control Law.

Kiosks will also be held at the Golden Age Club (press release dated July 20, 2023, stated the Kahnawake Services Complex) for one-on-one opportunities for community members to discuss the proposed changes to the law on the following dates:

• TOMORROW - Tuesday, July 25, from 1pm to 4pm
• Tuesday, August 1, from 9am to noon

The Draft Kahnawà:ke Animal Control Law is currently in the 30-day Feedback Period, which concludes on Friday, August 4, 2023, and is available for viewing by clicking here.

Feedback can be submitted in writing or by telephone to Ratsénhaienhs Ryan Montour, or Robyn Montour (contact information below), or by completing the Feedback Form on the Community Decision Making Review Process website.
