KLCC seeks two (2) Community Representatives

The Kahnawą:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) is calling for two (2) Kahnawa’kehró:non to submit Letters of Intent to serve as a Community Representative on the KLCC.

The Community Representatives serve to represent the community and are independent of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke. The two seats for Community Representatives are as follows; one for a two-year term and another for a three-year term.

Eligible persons must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and be registered on the Kahnawą:ke Kanien’kehį:ka Registry. Requirements for the position include attending KLCC and Community Decision Making Process meetings. The KLCC Community Representatives will be remunerated accordingly.
