Kahnawake Legislative Coordinating Commission receives request to amend Election Law

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to inform the community that it has received a request to amend the Kahnawà:ke Election Law. The request was made by Mr. Brian Goodleaf.

Because all activities of the KLCC have been on hold due to the pandemic, the legislative process will be delayed. Once the situation allows, the KLCC will follow the normal processes to address the request.

For further clarity, the request does not have any bearing on the current election. Further information is forthcoming.
