Reminder - Membership Law Hearing resumes this evening

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to remind Kahnawa’kehrò:non that the next Hearing on proposed amendments to the Kahnawà:ke Membership Law will be held this evening (Tuesday, May 17, 2016).

Once again, the Definition of ‘Great Grand Parent’ will head the agenda. Should this be concluded, Section 15 (‘Application Process/Approved Kahnawà:ke Residents’), Section 16 (‘Entitlements’), Section 17 (‘Privileges’), Section 18 (‘Responsibilities of the Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke’) and Section 19 (‘Obligations of Approved Kahnawà:ke Residents’) would follow.

The meeting will be held from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Golden Age Club. This will be the twelfth meeting in this First Hearing phase of the Community Decision Making Process.
