Kahnawà:ke Justice Act available to community

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is pleased to announce that the final Kahnawà:ke Justice Act is now available to community members on the legislative listing page of the Community Decision Making Process (CDMP) website located at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com.

The law was officially enacted by the signing of a Mohawk Council Resolution at a duly convened meeting held Monday, June 15th. Minor clerical amendments were made and approved on Tuesday, July 14th.

The mandate for a Kahnawà:ke Justice Act was given in February of 2010 and was passed by community members at the final hearing on November 12th, 2014.
