Draft amendments to MCK Election Law enter 30-day Community Feedback period

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) wishes to advise the community that the Second Draft of the proposed amendments to the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke Election Law has been completed and has now entered the 30-day Community Feedback phase of the Community Decision Making Process.

Copies of the Second Draft are now available at the main offices of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke or for viewing at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com (the KLCC website).

Community members are urged to view the document and make their comments to Trina C. Diabo, the technician who is administering the file, by Friday, 9 Tsothohrkó:wa/January 2015.

The Second Hearing for the proposed amendments will take place on Wednesday, 21 Tsothohrkó:wa/January 2015 at the Karonhianónhnha School from 6pm to 8:30pm.
