Mohawk Council of Kahnawake Election Law CDMP meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at Golden Age Club

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to remind Kahnawa’kehró:non that Consultations using the Community Decision Making Process to discuss the draft proposed amendments to the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke Election Law will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, 25, Enniskó:wa/March 2014) from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Golden Age Club.

This will be a continuation of the previous meeting held last November, at which there was no consensus on the question of whether the so-called “fifty percent clause” should remain in the law as an eligibility requirement for candidates for Chief & Council.
