Second draft of proposed Kahnawà:ke Justice System feedback period ends this Friday

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) wishes to remind the community that the Second Draft of the proposed Kahnawà:ke Justice System is in the 30-day Community Feedback phase until Friday, January 10, 2014.

It is available for viewing and to receive feedback on the KLCC website at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com. Copies of the document are also available at the Court of Kahnawà:ke and at the main offices of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke.

Community members are strongly urged to view the document and make their comments to Director of Justice Services Ron Skye (contact info below).

Please note that the Second Hearing for the proposed Kahnawà:ke Justice System is officially confirmed to begin on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. The Community Consultation will be held at the Karonhianónhnha School gymnasium from 6pm to 8:30pm.
