Justice Hearing Tonight

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to invite all community members to participate in tonight’s Justice Commission hearing. The Commission is using the Community Decision Making Process in the hopes of gaining a mandate to proceed with a Kahnawà:ke-based justice system.

The next question to be asked is: “Should judgments, orders and decisions from a (Kahnawà:ke) justice system be recognized outside the Territory?”

The session will be held from 6 to 9pm at the Peacekeepers Station Community Room.
