Reminder - Membership Law Community Consultation tomorrow, next dates announced

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) wishes to remind Kahnawa’kehró:non that Community Consultation #9 for amendments to the Kahnawà:ke Membership Law is scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 6pm at the Karonhianónhnha School gymnasium.

A proposal/suggestion to consider applicants who have three Mohawk great-grandparents under certain circumstances or with certain considerations will continue to be discussed.

Additionally, the KLCC announced that the dates for Community Consultations #10 and #11 will be 19 and 26, Ohiarí:ha/June. Both are Wednesdays, and both will be held at the Karonhianónhnha School Gymnasium.

IMPORTANT: Please note that, in accordance with KLCC procedures, observers will be directed to the observers’ tables provided for that purpose.
