Membership Law
Synopsis: This Law was first enacted by MCR #51/2003-2004 on November 10, 2003 and later amended into its current form by MCR #1/2007-2008 on April 2, 2007. This is a law respecting the collective right to determine our own membership. The Law provides for a Registrar to maintain and administer the Kahnawake Kanien’keha:ka Registry and the non-member resident list. The Law also provides for the creation of a Membership Review Council. There are 3 Regulations attached to this Law.
